Marinus Machinery Powermax Chevronline

The Marinus Powermax Chevron has been developed for producing tongue and groove profiles on the end faces of Hungarian herringbone parquet (Chevron).

Multiple wood parquet boards can be loaded into the input chamber, after which the process runs automatically. First, the boards are precut to the correct length and angle in the cross-cut saw unit and then transported via conveyor belt to the Chevron machine. Before profiling, the wood is laterally secured in a stationary position and clamped against a precise reference surface from above. This results in high profiling accuracy without visible edges on the surface when the boards are fitted together.

The two arms on which the profiling heads move back and forth are built very robustly and are driven by servomotors. This ensures that all boards have exactly the same length and angle. Lengths and angles are continuously adjustable via the user-friendly touchscreen panel.

This clamping system, in combination with two precut aluminum support blocks, effectively prevents breakout and splintering.
