Product Innovation: Sawing System Type "ORIX"
The sawing system enables the fully automated processing of a wide variety of aluminium profiles. The machine is constructed with a robust frame. For positioning the saw unit, linear guides and precision carriages are used. Drives are equipped with servomotors. For cutting, the saw unit moves forward 300 mm along the Y-axis and can easily process special profiles, plates, as well as Item and Bosch profiles. The support table consists of movable rollers which are positioned according to the current cutting length. All rollers are also mounted on precision carriages. The saw also includes a sturdy outfeed table where the cut aluminium parts are deposited. (Optionally, cut parts can also be transported away directly via a conveyor belt, including chips.) The machine is available with a cutting length of 6,000 mm, resulting in an overall length of 7,000 mm. The sawing system is delivered with a suitable dual-channel minimum-quantity lubrication system. It is also supplied with either a 400 mm or 600 mm saw blade.

Workflow:
Enter the profile length into the control system. The saw unit then moves to the specified length. The operator loads the aluminium profile and starts the saw. The saw locates the end-cut position using an end-cut recognition sensor. The end cut is performed. After cutting, the saw unit returns, repositions to the next programmed coordinate, and cuts the aluminium profile again.
These operations are repeated until the profile has been completely cut. All finished parts are gently deposited on the outfeed table or conveyor belt. Material clamping is carried out directly at the saw unit with vertical and horizontal clamps, as with conventional aluminium saws. Once the profile is cut, the saw unit automatically moves to the loading position, ready to repeat the process. Optional cross conveyors can be used for automated feed. For safety, fences or a light curtain can be integrated. The control system is available in two versions: 1. Diethei control system, 2. Siemens control system. Optional material sorting into different containers or by length is possible.
