Used isobaric complete bottling line for still and sparkling wine up to 4,500 bottles/h
This complete bottling line is designed and configured to provide a high-quality, consistent filling process for both still and sparkling wines. Based on an isobaric triblock system, it seamlessly integrates rinsing, filling, and capping functions in a continuous flow, ensuring excellent efficiency while maintaining product integrity. Currently, the system is set up for still wines with a capacity of 4,500 bottles per hour, and for sparkling wines with 3,000 bottles per hour.
The line is already technically prepared for sparkling wine production—if required, only a mushroom corker, a capsule applicator for Spumante hoods, and a heat tunnel need to be added.
The system is equipped with specialized conveyors, a central lubrication system, and separate operator panels for conveyor management, enabling easy maintenance and straightforward integration into existing automation environments. The entire layout follows a linear configuration, optimized for space utilization, ensuring smooth product transitions between stages without unnecessary bottlenecks.
Filling process and core machinery
Guedpfx Alow Imp Ho Nod
At the beginning of the line, empty bottles are automatically fed in via a depalletizer. This device gently lifts and transfers the bottles onto the infeed table, safeguarding bottle integrity. The bottles are then conveyed to the triblock system, where three key operations are performed sequentially: rinsing, filling, and capping.
The isobaric filling technology ensures precise fill levels and uniform carbonation for sparkling wines, while also being ideally suited for filling still wines. The filling valves are designed to minimize oxygen uptake, which is crucial for preserving wine sensory characteristics and shelf life. The rinser operates with clean water or a sanitizing solution to ensure the bottles are free from contaminants before filling. The capping turret, currently configured for still wine closures, can be operated with either BVS screw caps or conventional corks, depending on the chosen format.
An integrated dosing unit for gum arabic is included. This system allows the accurate addition of stabilizers after filling, helping to maintain wine clarity and prevent precipitation during storage. A dedicated steam generator (evaporator) is provided for both pipeline sterilisation and, if necessary, preheating applications.
