When installed outdoors, load capacities are reduced due to wind and snow loads. The foundation must be made of concrete, level, suitable for anchoring, and capable of supporting the applied loads. The client is responsible for checking and ensuring ground conditions, load-bearing capacity, and any necessary official permits. The rack uprights must be anchored to the floor on site; wall anchoring is neither necessary nor recommended. According to the trade association, it is recommended that the rack uprights have an overhang of at least 500 mm above the top storage level.
