When installed outdoors, the stated load capacities are reduced due to wind and snow loads.
The foundation must be concrete, level, and suitable for anchor bolts, and must be able to bear the applied loads. The floor structure, load-bearing capacity, and any necessary official approvals must be checked and provided by the customer.

The racking uprights must be anchored to the floor on site; wall anchoring is not necessary and not recommended.
According to German statutory accident insurance (BG) guidelines, it is recommended that the racking uprights have at least 500 mm of clearance above the top storage level.
