Královopolské strojírny G710 / G560

A complete production line for processing round timber, based on frame saw technology. The line is capable of processing logs from a minimum small-end diameter of 15 cm to a maximum butt diameter of 55 cm, with lengths ranging from 2.5 to 9.5 meters. The technology consists of:

1) A log handling cascade up to 10 meters in length with dosing system
2) Frame saw G710 by Královopolské strojírny
- The frame saw is equipped with a dosing carriage mounted on rails, featuring hydraulic centering of the piece
- Separating wedges at the saw’s exit separate center and side timber
- The saw is powered by a 55 kW electric motor

- Roller conveyors extend from the frame saw
- Center timber is returned via conveyors and directed to the second frame saw
- Side timber is continuously transported to the cascade, which conveys it to the edging center
3) Frame saw G560 by Královopolské strojírny
- The frame saw is equipped with a dosing carriage on rails, including hydraulic centering
- Separating wedges at the saw’s exit separate center and side timber
- The saw is powered by a 45 kW electric motor

- Side timber is directed via a roller conveyor to the edging center cascade
- Center timber is collected immediately after sawing, loaded onto a rail-mounted carriage, and after the batch is complete, extracted from the sawmill using a winch
4) Edging center by Strojírny Loučná n. Desnou
- Max cutting height 26 mm, cutting width 70 to 370 mm, total installed power 29.2 kW

- Side timber is fed vertically by the cascade into the edging center
- If required, the timber is first cut to the desired production length. The length can be set as fixed or optimized for yield maximization
- After trimming, the timber is edged to fixed widths to achieve maximum timber yield. After edging, the timber is automatically conveyed to storage boxes according to the trimmed lengths. The final product is unsorted side timber by width, usually 80 mm and above.
