The XL CNC Economic, a high-performance, fast, and precise new Smart XL model, is targeted at companies in the small and medium sheet metal processing sector. The ESA S 640 2D Series CNC controls, installed as standard on the press brakes, process multi-step parts in a single run using direct angle programming and a bending-step system, with the steps automatically managed by the CNC.

Programmable parameters such as upper beam clearance, dwell time at the bend point, upper beam opening speed after bending, and bending speed make even difficult bends effortless and contribute to faster production rates.

Thanks to the capability to program 2D parts and tools on a computer, programs for subsequent parts can be created while the machine is in operation. The bending steps are automatically selected and transferred to the machine via USB or local network.
