THE COST-EFFICIENT MANDREL BENDING MACHINE FOR TIGHT BENDING RADII

This bending system provides solutions for complex geometries with standard radii of 2xD for tube diameters from 15 - 100 mm. Depending on material quality and wall thickness ratio, radii as small as 1.5xD can also be reliably achieved in series production. With a tool height of 120 mm, ample options for special profiles are available as well.

The highly precise and powerful electric drive of the bending axis, along with the robust and rigid construction of the mandrel carrier and bending arm, all contribute to the desired bending results. The plug-in bending tools allow for quick changeover to other tube sizes. The clamping pressure for the tube can be optimally adjusted. The PLC control (easily expandable via USB stick) with data storage and the latest X2X interface can store virtually unlimited numbers of programs for bending angles, length dimensions, and rotational angles for up to 50 bending sequences per tube length.

A freely programmable database for up to 200 materials is available to monitor springback values. The control offers two operating modes: In 'Simple Bending', the lengths and angles of the bends are automatically displayed in relation to each other. In 'Controlled Bending', the data is preset and during the bending process a continuous actual/target comparison is performed.

Also available with pneumatic rotary stop or with gear-assisted length and rotational positioning.
