THE MANDREL BENDER WITH MANUAL CLAMPING

This mandrel bending machine, featuring a manual eccentric quick clamping system for tube fixing, allows for efficient bending operations. The compact drive unit with a detachable mandrel carrier provides advantages for use directly at the installation site. Position feedback directly on the bending axis ensures optimal bending precision. The bending angle is set quickly and easily via a user-friendly touchscreen control with a menu-guided interface. The comfort control enables two selectable speeds, as well as a parameterizable overbending function to compensate for material springback.

The bending process is greatly shortened thanks to an automatic 'clear travel' at the end of the bend. For more complex bending tasks, programs can be stored, managing a sequence of up to 50 bends per geometry. An almost unlimited number of programs, as well as up to 200 materials, can be saved on the control unit or a USB stick. Plug-in bending tools allow for quick changeover to different tube sizes. For demanding geometries, the machine's bending direction can be easily changed to right- or left-hand bending as standard. The open bending unit enables, for example, the fabrication of railing frames with only one welding seam. Optional calculation software for the PC calculates the cut length for the entire geometry and determines the feed path, twist, and bending angle for each bend. The mandrel retraction is programmable and can be automatically withdrawn early upon reaching a certain bending angle.
