Intended Use
The automatic high-performance longitudinal circular saw KMS is designed for precision finish and joining cuts. It offers a robust, durable construction and is engineered for continuous industrial operation in wood, plastic, or metal processing.

Machine Configuration
Sturdy, welded heavy-duty steel construction.
Motor protection switch with automatic star-delta starter.
Carriage guidance via precision round steel rails and ball-bearing rollers; rails are mounted on exchangable supports.
The entire carriage unit is positioned beneath the front machine table.

Saw Unit
Lowerable circular saw assembly, electrically and pneumatically raised.
Cutting height adjustment manually via threaded spindle.
Continuously adjustable feed rate from 1–60 m/min, powered by a frequency-controlled motor.
Return speed constant at 60 m/min, independent of feed rate.
Cut length shortening for variable cutting lengths adjustable via selector switch.

Machine Table
Front machine table made of reinforced longitudinal beams, adjustable and mounted for high stability.
Table surface comprised of profiled steel plates with recess grips.
Cantilevered width stop, supported and guided on three sides.
Spindle drive with fine adjustment via handwheel, scale directly readable.
Working width: 400 mm (standard execution).
Electro-pneumatically controlled stop rail with automatic retraction for free fall of cut material.
Narrow rear machine table, electro-pneumatically tiltable downwards for unobstructed drop during longitudinal cutting.

Saw Blade and Extraction
Designed for saw blades Ø 400 mm, bore Ø 30 mm, mount Ø 80 mm.
Maximum cutting height: 70 mm.
Integrated extraction channel, Ø 150 mm.

Double Circular Saw Unit “DUO”
For pre- and post-cutting, consisting of two Ø 400 mm saw blades and two motors, each with 11 kW (15 HP).
Total cutting length: 3200 mm.
Pressure beam in torsion-resistant construction with parallel guide, lifting movement controlled electro-pneumatically.
Integrated finger-contact safety rail.
