The IMA HKA hand edge banding device is a versatile tool for manually applying edge strips or veneer strips to panel-shaped workpieces. It is suitable for materials such as chipboard, blockboard, and MDF. The device can be used both manually and in combination with a processing table, offering high flexibility in application. The HKA consists of two main components:

1. Hand tool: Automatically feeds the edge strip, applies adhesive, and presses it onto the workpiece.

2. Processing table: Includes a vacuum pump, temperature controller, and various control elements. The hand tool can be suspended from a cable hoist to facilitate operation.

Operation methods:

• Guided workpiece: The hand tool is mounted on the processing table and the workpiece is moved manually.
• Guided hand tool: The workpiece is fixed with vacuum suction pads while the hand tool is guided.
