On both sides of the enclosure, there is a counterweight connected to the window frame via a wire rope guided over a pulley. This enables the window to be opened effortlessly and to remain at any desired height.

Both plates, together with the thermal insulation plates, heating plates, and the actual ram/table, are ground flat. On the left and right are polished, chrome-plated guide columns over which the ram is kept parallel by 250 mm high bronze bushings.

Pressure constancy maintained for up to five hours, with a maximum deviation of 5%.

Electronic door monitoring
The vertical door is monitored by the safety control system. The locking mechanism only allows ram movement when the door is closed.
Additionally, the locking mechanism prevents the door from opening if the heating plates are warmer than 50°C. However, this function can be deliberately deactivated by the operator. To do so, the operator must press and hold a switch for 10 seconds, which is clearly labeled: "Door Release – Risk of Burns!".
