The control system is very user-friendly, allowing for length and radius corrections directly in the program, with no advanced CNC knowledge required. Of course, the Hermle can also be operated manually without control. Additionally, the machine is equipped with hydraulic clamping both vertically and horizontally. Switching from vertical to horizontal operation is very easy, simply by folding away the vertical head. The guideways are regularly lubricated by the central lubrication system.
