The HERBOLD plastcompactor is a system designed for the agglomeration of films, fibers, shavings, dust, and flakes. Poorly free-flowing waste is transformed into an agglomerate with high bulk density and excellent flow characteristics, allowing it to be fed directly into extruders or injection molding machines.

The system offered for sale features a main drive motor with 110 kW power and a throughput capacity of 600 to 2,000 kg/h, depending on the input material. All thermoplastic plastics can be processed, including sensitive materials such as PET, PA, and biodegradable plastics, which can be agglomerated without thermal degradation or discoloration.

The system comprises the feed unit with silo, the compactor, a post-shredding mill with screening, and fine material recirculation.

If required, a pre-shredding unit tailored to your specific needs can be offered. Trials for suitability testing and sampling can be conducted at our technical center. We are the manufacturer of this plant and can ensure service and spare parts supply.
