Drive and Power Supply
The machine is driven by a frequency-controlled motor via a flywheel. Between the flywheel and the machine is a pneumatic clutch with spring-loaded brake, used to engage and disengage the machine. The motor runs continuously. The control cabinet located with the machine contains, with few exceptions, all switching devices for the die-cutter and feeder. Command and signal devices are located at the machine, distributed as required across the control panels.
