Heesemann Automatic Sander KSA 8, 2600 mm Wide Belt Sander

The sander consists of:

1. Frame Structure
For supporting the conveyor bed, with mounting option for 1 sanding unit and 1 brushing device.

2. Conveyor Bed
Individual conveyor belts, feed speed adjustable from 5 – 25 m/min via frequency control, working height constant at 920 mm. Adjustment to workpiece thickness (3 – 80 mm) by height adjustment of the entire machine top section. Monitoring of the toothed belts for the lifting gear at a height adjustment speed of 3 mm/s, including integrated control cabinets.

3. Industrial PC 21.5"
Capacitive multitouch color display, 1,920 x 1,020 pixel resolution, CF card, operating system Windows Embedded Standard, with production data acquisition (display of production and downtime). Ethernet interface available. Program storage for 1,000 programs. Motor speed values are stored and set automatically when a program is selected.

5. Longitudinal Sanding Unit with Contact Roller for Calibration (Steel)
Imbalance quality Q 1 (precision balanced) according to VDI 2060, drive with Poly-V belt, maintenance-free bearings. Diameter: 350 mm. Sanding belt dimensions: 3,250 x 2,650 mm. Belt speed: 1–24 m/s. Drive power: 37 kW frequency inverter, stepless adjustment of belt speed. Wear-free braking system, intermittent belt cleaning, automatic infrared belt tracking, belt runs counter to feed, manual grit compensation. Infeed: segmented, pneumatically controlled pressure lip. Outfeed: continuous, pneumatically controlled pressure lip.

6. Brush Roller Unit, Central Height Adjustment, Incl. Extraction Hood and Pressure Roller
Brush type: horsehair. Diameter: 250 mm. Drive power: 5.5 kW.

7. Workpiece Vacuum Clamping System
For safe transport of workpieces shorter than 750 mm in feed direction, including integrated fan. Operating voltage: 400V, 50 Hz.
