Details:
1. Walk-in cleaning cabin, pre-treatment for steel and aluminium
The cleaning cabin is designed for automatic cleaning and allows spraying at medium pressure. The cabin has 7 different spray tanks. Maximum part sizes: L=6000 mm, W=2000 mm, H=2300 mm.
1. Cabin dimensions: Length: 6,500 mm | Width: 3,000 mm | Height: 3,600 mm
2. Full pre-treatment section: Length: 6,600 mm | Width: 4,640 mm | Height: 4,300 mm
Process steps:
1. Degreasing / neutral pickling: Heated tank, 50-55°C, time = 3-6 min, drip-off time = 80 sec
2. Acidic mineral pickling: Heated tank, 50-55°C, time = 3-6 min, drip-off time = 80 sec
3. Rinse 1: Rinsing with ambient temperature water, time = 0.75-1.5 min, drip-off = 1 min
4. Rinse 2: Rinsing with ambient temperature water, time = 0.75-1.5 min, drip-off = 45 sec
5. Rinse 3: Rinsing with ambient temperature water, time = 0.75-1.5 min, drip-off = 45 sec
6. Nano-ceramic: At ambient temperature, time = 0.75-1.5 min, drip-off = 60 sec
7. Overhead spray ring for post-rinsing after process 6: Rinse at ambient temperature, time = 1 min, drip-off = 60 sec
8. Passivation, no-rinse for aluminium: Rinse at ambient temperature, time = 2-3 min, drip-off = 1-2 min

Tank No. 1 is equipped with an oil skimmer “UniSkim-21-100.”

The spray system is two-part and movable, operated via a pneumatic push system with up to 500 mm travel. The return feed to the tanks is also movable using a pneumatic push system with 7 positions, serving the 7 tanks.
