FAG (nowadays under Bobst) speedproof 4C

Paper size 730 x 1060 mm and printing area 710 x 1040 mm. Paper thickness 0.05 mm - 0.5 mm. The set maximum speed (due to simulating the travel time of fast printing presses) is 4000 sheets/hour, but the machine is capable of much higher speeds for commercial work. Four-cylinder central impression cylinder that completes all four printing units in one gripper closure.

1988 FAG Speedproof with control console for ink fountains and cylinder adjustment for extremely precise register printing. Attached is the original factory brochure. Fully dry ice cleaned and cylinders are in very good condition. The machine is offered strictly 'as is'.

Maximum width is 225 cm, maximum height is 230 cm; shipment in a High Cube container is possible.

The price is strictly fixed and based on removing components that we could sell separately, such as the Mabeg feeder with vacuum belt and the four-stage Baldwin stainless steel unit, with individual baths, mixers, and adjustable temperature for each color—meaning all four baths can be set to different temperatures and alcohol percentages.

The machine has been dry ice cleaned. It was intended to play a prominent role in electronic paper printing, but due to excessive start-up losses, the project was canceled.

The machine has been with us for three years now, and due to its size, I want it sold as soon as possible. Hence this very low price. It is an excellent machine.

If the machine must be set up for testing and trial runs, this is possible at an extra cost of €10,000, of which €5,000 must be paid in advance as a conditional deposit.
