Year of manufacture: 2015, and it has always been housed in our showroom. We've only printed about 10 cards with it before deciding that this type of system does not fit our company’s needs. Therefore, it's now available as a virtually brand-new unit.

The Matica Espresso II is a compact and robust desktop ID card printer, combining Italian design and engineering with German reliability for consistent performance. The Espresso II delivers remarkable speed and print quality, making it a valuable and versatile solution. Its durable build ensures it remains an excellent choice for any office or card production environment.

The Espresso II is designed for single-sided card printing, ideal for projects requiring one-sided prints. It can be easily upgraded in the field to double-sided (duplex) printing, boosting productivity. All upgrade options, including contact and contactless smart card encoding, are field-upgradable without the need for additional hardware.

Front-mounted LED status indicators allow users to monitor production from a distance, while a blue LED on the card hopper door indicates real-time card input availability. Manual single-card insertion is available for individual card printing. Each printer features a rear output hopper for collecting larger runs, increasing throughput in high-volume operations. Standard configuration with front input/output trays is ideal where space is limited, such as desktops, cabinets, or under counters. Optional inline encoding (magnetic stripe, contact chip, or contactless smart card) maximizes functionality for a wide range of uses like access control, time and attendance, payment services, and more.

All models offer Ethernet connectivity and optional WiFi for convenient and reliable network integration. The modular design allows you to select the configuration that precisely matches your requirements, with easy upgrades available should your needs change.
