In designing this machine, we drew on traditional mechanical engineering principles—using heavy, heat-treated steel frames and mechanical solutions to make later operation and maintenance easier. This distinctive approach to machine design and manufacturing allows our machine to deliver years of trouble-free glass drilling, ensuring a high return on investment. To guarantee a high level of craftsmanship for our glass drilling machines, we manufacture them in Poland with the support of regional partners. The main body is produced by us locally, heat treated, and further machined by nearby facilities. This means the entire manufacturing process is strictly supervised, allowing us to identify and correct any issues before delivery. At the same time, this approach supports the local machine-building industry. All assemblies used in the machine comply with the highest European standards. Our suppliers include SIEMENS, HITACHI, UNITRONICS, SCHNEIDER, and GARLOCK. Mechanical components are available and can be replaced quickly and easily during operation. Expoglass Priam – Glass Drilling Machine – Superior Functionality - 2 drilling spindles (front and rear), allowing glass sheets to be drilled through in a single process without flipping. - Electronically controlled support bar: Simply enter the desired distance from the lower glass edge to the borehole on the touchscreen and the machine adjusts automatically. - Quick-change drill mode: After pressing the tool change button, both spindles are automatically locked (rotation is prevented). The vertical plate between the drills lowers, providing ample space to remove the bits by hand, with no wrenches needed. - Automatic (electronic) measurement of drill length and position: After tool change, the machine automatically calibrates the length of each drill. Expoglass Priam – Glass Drilling Machine – Top-Level Functionality • 2 drill spindles (front and rear): Allow drilling through a glass pane in a single operation without the need to turn the sheet over. • Electronically controlled loading bar: To set the distance between the lower glass edge and the hole, simply input the desired measurement on the touch screen, and the machine automatically positions itself accordingly. • Quick drill change mode: Once the drill change button is pressed, both drill spindles are automatically locked (they cannot rotate). The vertical plate between the two drills is lowered, creating ample space between the spindles, allowing drill bits to be changed easily and tool-free, with plenty of room to work comfortably. • Automatic (electronic) measurement of drill length and position: After a drill change, the machine automatically calibrates by measuring the length of the new drill. This lets the machine determine the precise distance between the glass surface and each drill tip, which is especially important for smaller operations where mostly individual, not series, drillings are performed. • Automatic (electronic) determination of spindle depth positions: After automatic spindle calibration and pressing the glass against the plate, the machine measures the thickness of the pane, then automatically adjusts the ideal drilling depths.
