DBG – 3 in 1
The drill bit grinding machines of the DBG series are designed for grinding spiral drill bits made from HSS and carbide. The machine features integrated grinding stations for the point angle, clearance angle, and split point processing.

Special CBN or SDC diamond grinding wheels are used, depending on the drill material.
SDC-coated grinding wheels
Metal-coated synthetic diamond for sharpening carbide drill bits.
CBN-coated grinding wheels
Provide outstanding sharpening results at very high speeds without overheating. The special thermal conductivity of the CBN (boron nitride crystals) dissipates the frictional heat through the wheel, preventing the cutting edge from hardening and virtually eliminating spark formation. CBN offers greater thermal stability than diamond and, thanks to reduced wear, is ideal for sharpening HSS tools.
