The Function

The TAM 25/600 cuts and sizes ejector pins, ejector sleeves, and punch pins quickly and precisely. Workpieces ranging from 0.5 to 25 mm in diameter, made of tool steel or carbide, can be processed. Simply place the workpiece into the quick-clamping prism, set the desired finished length, and cut and size in one step. An additional clamp is available on request for extremely thin, short, or stepped pins.

After cutting, the worktable locks in the end position, the length is measured precisely, and the workpiece is finish-ground to size with integral micrometer feed. Wear on the cup wheel is compensated by adjusting the grinding spindle. Wheel dressing is performed automatically via the integrated diamond dresser. On request, CBN or diamond grinding wheels are available as optional equipment for the TAM 25/600.
