In comparison to the KVK 2 MA, it features a cut-out in the turntable that allows floor-level loading with a manual pallet truck. Only the application and removal of the film need to be done manually with this wrapper. With a weight of 700 kg, this model is also designed for professional use and can handle loads of up to 1,500 kg. The 1A comes equipped with a 1,500 mm turntable and can wrap pallets up to 2,400 mm high as standard. With adjustable speeds for both turntable and film carriage, as well as a finely adjustable electromagnetic brake via potentiometer, you can perfectly tailor the automated wrapping process to suit your product. Automatic pallet detection (via photocell) and adjustable top and bottom wraps are standard features. The machine offers programs for “up only” wrapping, “up & down” (cross wrapping), and “rainproof” wrapping. Manual operation of the wrapper is also possible if required. If you need to relocate the wrapper, it can easily be lifted and moved using a forklift and the integrated cut-outs. This automatic stretch wrapper with turntable independently applies the film to the pallet and cuts it off after the wrapping cycle, unlike the KVK 3 which requires manual application. It is also equipped with a pre-stretch system for 250% film stretch. With this pre-stretch system, you can turn 1 metre of film on the roll into up to 3.5 metres of film on the pallet, drastically reducing your material consumption.
