Building upon the safety, efficiency, flexibility, and user-friendliness of the CR Series, the CR5A breaks the payload barrier of 5 kg and thus opens up a broader range of applications for collaborative robots. With a working radius of 900 mm, the CR5A meets the demands of heavy-duty picking, packaging, palletizing, and welding in the automotive, household appliance, logistics, and metalworking industries.

User-friendly design for faster implementation
The CR5A utilizes the industry’s first dual-channel end effector design, which can be connected directly to multiple end-of-arm tools. It is also equipped with a visual status indicator at the base for intuitive recognition of the operating status.

More possibilities with high payload and large reach.
The CR5A offers a working radius of 900 mm and a maximum payload of 5 kg. Thanks to an advanced motion control algorithm, the CR5A operates more stably and features 50% fewer residual vibrations during rapid emergency stops.

24 interface ports for greater flexibility
The CR5A supports Profinet and Ethernet/IP communication protocols and can be seamlessly integrated with PLCs. It offers 24 digital I/O ports with industry-leading support for both PNP and NPN wiring, making application expansion easy.

High protection level for safe collaboration.

Robot housing and control unit achieve a high IP54 protection rating. In the event of overload, the robot automatically triggers an alarm. The CR5A is also equipped with an innovative electromagnetic brake protection system, which reduces the drop height of the end tool during a power failure.
