Dobot CRAS Series

It offers the same functionalities and performance as the CRA series and has been further enhanced with SafeSkin technology for pre-collision detection, ensuring greater safety and more efficient collaboration.

Building on the safety, efficiency, flexibility, and user-friendliness of the CRAS series, the CR16AS breaks the payload barrier of 16 kg, opening up a wider range of applications for collaborative robots. With a working radius of 1000 mm, the CR16AS meets the demands of heavy-duty picking, packaging, palletizing, and welding operations in the automotive, home appliance, logistics, and metalworking industries.

User-friendly design for faster deployment
The CR16AS utilizes the industry's first dual-channel end effector design, allowing direct connection to multiple end-of-arm tools. It also features a visual status indicator on the base for intuitive recognition of the operating status.
More possibilities thanks to high payload and large reach.
The CR16AS offers a working radius of 1000 mm and a maximum payload of 16 kg. Thanks to an advanced motion control algorithm, the CR16AS operates more stably and experiences 50% less residual vibration during rapid emergency stops.

24 interface ports for greater flexibility
The CR16AS supports Profinet and Ethernet/IP communication protocols and integrates seamlessly with PLC systems. It features 24 digital I/O ports with industry-leading support for both PNP and NPN circuits for easy application expansion.
High protection level for safe collaboration.
The robot’s housing and control unit achieve the high IP54 protection rating. In the event of overload, the robot automatically triggers an alarm. The CR16AS is also equipped with an innovative electromagnetic brake protection, which reduces the drop height of the end effector in case of power failure.
