APPLICATIONS
The S Series granulators are mainly used as large central granulators in in-house recycling applications for processing large, thick-walled parts in a single stage or as a secondary granulator after a shredder to achieve higher output and throughput rates.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The high-performance mills of the S Series offer working widths from 600 to 1000 mm with a rotor diameter of 400 and 560 mm. The fully welded, heavy-duty steel construction is designed to withstand the most demanding and versatile applications. Rotor bearings, knife holders, and rotor shafts are oversized. The standard V-cut technology ensures a high-quality regrind with a very low fines content in the discharged material. The removable third stator knife (optional) serves as a deflector wedge and allows for quick adaptation of the machine to various application scenarios. Further standard features include easily adjustable knives from the outside, reducing the risk of contamination.

» The easily removable deflector wedge acts as a third stator knife and allows the aggressiveness of the rotor at the first cutting point to be adjusted.

» The heavy-duty bearings are separated from the cutting chamber to prevent lubricant ingress and bearing failure, thus avoiding material contamination.
» Both rotor and stator knives are adjusted from the outside.
