For sale: a complete, automated sanding line for wooden plates and tabletops, designed for industrial-scale production of components with high-quality requirements.

The line ensures consistent surface quality, high productivity, and minimises operator involvement thanks to the use of robotic loading and unloading stations.

The line includes:

• COSTA wide-belt sander with planing head and two sanding units with one pressure shoe (2017)
The machine provides calibration, pre-planing, and precision sanding of plates and panels. The twin-unit system enables efficient stock removal as well as final surface finishing.

• Automatic loading station with ABB IRB 760 robot (2024)
A modern, high-performance robotic station ensuring precise and rapid feeding of components into the sander.

• Automatic unloading and palletising station – ABB IRB 760 robot (2024)
Fully automated receiving of finished components and palletising, considerably improving production logistics.

• Conveyor with 180-degree panel flipping mechanism (2024)
Allows for automatic flipping of workpieces during processing, enabling double-sided operation without operator intervention.

• Automated edge milling units (top/bottom) integrated with the wide-belt sander
An integrated solution allowing simultaneous surface and edge processing, reducing cycle times and increasing overall line efficiency.
