Volumetric dosing machine COMAS model DN (refurbished with new dosing head)
Specialized machine for dosing "sponge cake" composition and creams onto bases:
a) Sponge cake onto moulded trays with diameter mm=240–260 and thickness mm=7–12, or rectangular trays with customized sizes fitting the same outline.
b) Creams onto the bases from previous point a), in multiple layers (optional).
Structure comprises:
- Main frame made of Stainless Steel S/S, fitted with wheels and locking pivots.
- Dosing head with pneumatic drive (Waircom and/or Fesner).
- Height adjustment mechanism for the dosing head with handwheel.
- Mechanism for adjusting the dispensed volume, with graduated handwheel.
- No.1 height-adjustable worktable.
- No.1 50-litre buffer hopper for sponge cake composition.
- No.1 interchangeable dosing cylinder, 100 mm diameter. Adjustable dosing quantity: 78 to 1240 cm³.
- No.1 distribution terminal for dosing into moulds, diameter mm=260, fitted with perforated diaphragm for final closure.
- No.1 foot pedal for triggering the dosing or for in-line synchronization.
- No.1 set of nozzles for sponge cake (pandispan) dosing.
- Optional: decoration with creams (see photo/next page).
- No.1 electrical system and control panel.
Main technical specifications:
- All parts in contact with the product are made of stainless steel AISI 316 or decontaminating materials. Frame in AISI 304 stainless steel and/or food-grade aluminum. Transmissions and gears in chromed steel. Bearings are stainless-clad, hermetically sealed.
- Pneumatic unit: Waircom and/or Fesner brand.
- Compressor: not included.
- Working cycle:
a) Manual, by foot pedal (approx. 5–15 cycles/min).
b) Automatic: 8–15 cycles per minute, adjustable.
