The COLUMBUS Pioneer is a professional vacuum or membrane press for applications such as vacuum form bonding, veneering, laminating, and coating of flat or curved workpieces. Thanks to the modular concept, the machine can be adapted to different requirements and is available in various sizes and configurations.

Configurations/Modular Design:

The COLUMBUS Pioneer features a modular design and is available in the following configurations: BASIC (classic vacuum pressing for veneering, coating, and form bonding), HEAT (heating and thermoforming of plastics and solid surface materials), and VERTICAL (processing of taller workpieces and convenient loading/unloading via vertical opening). These modules can be combined as needed or retrofitted later.

COLUMBUS machines are designed for long-term operation and manufactured using high-quality industrial components. This includes the digital Master Manual with extensive practical knowledge of vacuum technology, as well as Master GPT – artificial intelligence for all queries regarding the machine, applications, materials, and optimal process parameters. The system supports users with commissioning, operation, and process optimization, and is supplied with a tablet for immediate use.
