Operating principle of the tool testing press:
1. The main switch is activated by turning.

2. The press lighting should then be switched on.
3. The tool is placed in the pressure center of the press. If the tool requires higher force off-center (e.g. in progressive dies where the first station punches heavy gauge sheets while subsequent stations perform fine operations), the tool may need to be shifted slightly to the left or right so that the counterpressure from the material acts as centrally as possible on the ram.
4. The lower die is bolted onto the press table, and the upper die is then moved down.
5. For this, switch the pump on at the control cabinet. The drop protection then releases the ram.
6. By gently pulling the control lever, the downward movement is initiated. The more the lever is pulled, the faster the press operates. For safety reasons, the maximum downward speed is limited to 10 mm/sec.
7. The pressing pressure is adjusted via a rotary control located on the right near the lever operation.
8. After the ram has reached the upper die, it is fastened to the ram.
9. Once any transport locks are removed, the press is opened by pressing the hand lever. The upward travel speed can be continuously adjusted between 0 and 25 mm/sec using the hand lever.
