The film wrapper seals upper and lower film webs, creating a film band. The product stack is fed into the film band, and the film is tightly wrapped around the stack. A rubber-coated tensioning roller stretches the film, with stepless adjustment of the tension level. This allows tight wrapping of stacked products and sets such as books, bottles, or cans. In many applications, the tightly wrapped film does not require shrinking. However, if necessary, the product can be conveyed through the shrink tunnel to shrink the film edges around the product.
