The semi-automatic, hydraulic saws of the X-tech line offer top-level sawing technology and best-in-class performance when cutting specialty steels.
• The electro-welded machine frame and steel saw bow meet all cutting requirements and eliminate vibrations and noise.
• The chip conveyor is hydraulically driven and the speed is adjustable.
• All machine movements (saw frame, vise, feed, saw band guides) are controlled by modern linear guides, ensuring high static and dynamic load capacity as well as minimal sliding friction.
• Another key feature are the rollers for material positioning, driven by a hydraulic motor. They move at a right angle to the material, ensuring optimal clamping positioning.
• Thanks to the height control of the saw band position, the operator can place the blade close to the top edge of the material. After the cut, the band automatically returns to its previous position. Alternatively, 'remain' at the lower position can be selected. During the cutting cycle, the software compares the sawing load with the preset value. Thus, the sawing system can be stopped in the event of irregularities.
• The saw band is cleaned by two adjustable steel brushes, driven hydraulically.
• The hydraulic unit, including filter and pressure gauge, ensures particularly smooth operation at a constant pressure.
• Finely ground carbide inserts clamp the saw band, complete with lateral, hardened, adjustable guide rollers. The adjustable band guide automatically moves as close as possible to the material.
• The saw band is tensioned by a hydraulic cylinder, controlled by the machine software. The tension is automatically released after a preset time if the machine is idle or after completion of a cycle.
• Automatic version with CNC control in X-TECH 900 / 1200 models, with a feed length of 500 mm, available for high-volume production series.
• The material is supported by a table with seven rollers, driven by a hydraulic orbital motor, ensuring precise positioning even under maximum load.
• All guided movements are driven by four recirculating ball guides, designed for high static and dynamic load capacity, significantly reducing feed friction. Hardened and ground prismatic guides.
