The semi-automatic, hydraulic saws of the X-tech line offer premium sawing technology and top performance when cutting specialty steels.
• The electro-welded machine frame and the steel saw bow meet all cutting requirements and eliminate vibrations and noise.
• The chip conveyor is hydraulically driven with adjustable speed.
• All machine movements (saw bow, vice, feed, saw band guides) operate via state-of-the-art linear guides with high static and dynamic load capacity, ensuring minimal sliding friction.
• Another distinguishing feature is the material positioning rollers, which are hydraulically driven. They move perpendicular to the material, allowing for optimal clamping.
• Thanks to height control of the saw blade position, the operator can set the band close to the material's top edge. After cutting, the band automatically returns to its previous position. Alternatively, the band can remain in the lower position. During the cutting cycle, the software compares the cutting load with preset values, enabling the sawing process to stop in case of anomalies.
• The saw blade is cleaned by two adjustable steel brushes, driven hydraulically.
• The hydraulic unit, including filter and pressure gauge, ensures particularly quiet operation at a constant pressure.
• Precision-ground carbide inserts clamp the saw blade, complete with lateral hardened and adjustable guide rollers. The adjustable band guide automatically moves as close as possible to the material.
• The saw blade is tensioned via a hydraulic cylinder controlled by the machine software. The tension is automatically released after a specified time when the machine is idle or when a cycle has finished.
• CNC-controlled automatic versions are available in the X-TECH 900 / 1200 models, featuring a 500 mm feeding length for high-production applications.
• The material is supported by a table with seven rollers, powered by a hydraulic orbital motor, ensuring precise positioning even at maximum load.
• All guided movements are handled by four recirculating ball linear guides with high static and dynamic load capacity, significantly reducing feed friction. Hardened and ground prismatic guides.
