In this system, trimming is first carried out at the front of the cardboard to remove potential transport damage. Following the trimming, a minimum side trim of 30 mm is performed on both sides. Furthermore, if necessary, a corner of the cardboard is cut off, which varies depending on the Fefco type. Finally, the cardboard is creased at the fold lines and conveyed out of the machine.

The resulting waste is transported out of the machine by a waste belt located underneath. At the machine's exit, a conveyor belt disposes of the waste into a container. If the edge trimming is too long, it must be cut inside the system to allow trouble-free removal from the machine.

The cut blanks and products are transferred to the folding table, where the cartons are erected and filled. In the Box Closing Unit, the cartons are sealed, labeled, and discharged from the system.
