The new large Freeformer 300-3X processes three components using the ARBURG Plastic Freeforming (AKF) technology and enables – for the first time worldwide –
industrial additive manufacturing of complex functional parts with robust hard-soft combinations and support structure.
The designation "300" refers to the available build platform area in square centimeters.
Compared to the Freeformer 200-3X, the build chamber now offers 50 percent more space for parts up to 234 x 134 x 230 mm in size.
“3X” stands for the three axes along which the build platform can move (x, y, and z directions).
