Packaging line for the production and packaging of wet wipes such as hygienic wipes, cleaning wipes, wet care wipes, and disinfectant wipes. The line consists of a wet wipe production unit and a flow wrap packaging unit. Wet wipe production process: unwinding of the nonwoven material from 2 parent rolls and longitudinal cutting into 5 webs per roll (up to moistening) for high-speed production, longitudinal folding in Z or C shape, moistening via multiple spray nozzles, cross cutting (wipe length), stacking, and transfer to the packaging unit. The flow wrap packaging unit handles the feeding of the wet wipes, feeding of the film and printing (hot stamp), die punching (for wipe removal opening), placement of the resealable label and, for example, a seal label (the integrated dual-lane labeler allows offset labeling), bag cutting/heat sealing. The liquid supply system for moistening the wipes consists of 2 tanks with continuously mixing agitators and a liquid return unit. – Specifications: suitable for dry nonwovens (spunlace material); fold: Z or C fold (change of folding tool required); fold width adjustable on each side; folded wipe size: L(120–220)xW(90–110)mm; unfolded wipe size: L(120–220)xW(150–220) mm; number of wipes per pack (min. to max.): 30–120 wipes; wet wipe basis weight: 40–80g/m²; machine cycle rate (idle): max. 5,600 wipes/min or max. 60 packs/min; bag size depends on folding dimensions and number of wipes per pack; film roll size: max. width 360 mm, max. diameter 400 mm; suitable films: OPP film (transparent, printed, or laminated); parent roll nonwoven size: width 800–1320mm, max. diameter 1200mm; label roll size: max. width 60mm; max. diameter 300mm; liquid tank dimensions: 900x900x1900 mm; packaging line dimensions: L13,998xW5,404xH2,350 mm; total weight: approx. 10,600kg; power: 19kW, 380V, 3-phase.
