Automatic tray sealer including a module for creating a protective atmosphere. Depending on requirements, a protective gas mixture and/or vacuum can be generated inside the tray—prior to sealing the tray with film. For an additional charge, a skin vacuum module can be integrated into the packaging machine. The AMTEC tray sealer is particularly attractive for products in the food industry, as the reduction of oxygen extends the shelf life and freshness of food products. Ribbon printer for best-before date or batch number is included in the price. PLC by OMRON, touchscreen by WEINVIEW, Panasonic servomotors, pneumatic valves and cylinders by AIRTAC. - Specifications: 2-lane version; sealing chamber size: L450 x W(200–400)mm; multi-tray processing possible within this range (surcharge applies); max. idle cycle rate: 12 cycles/min (sealing only) or 5 cycles/min (vacuum/protective gas generation and sealing); gas mixture: N2 or N2+CO2; gas supply pump capacity: 63m³/h; machine dimensions: L2950 x W1040 x H1700mm.
