Application area:
With increasing testing volumes, the need for a higher degree of automation (compared to the Cflow) also grows. The Mflow is a modularly expandable device that enables you to determine the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and the melt volume-flow rate (MVR).
The Mflow melt flow tester is designed in its basic version for MFR testing according to Method A and can be upgraded for MVR testing according to Method B.
Testing according to the following standards is possible:
- Methods A and B according to ISO 1133
- Methods A, B, and C according to ASTM D 1238
- ASTM D 3364
- JIS K 7210
Optionally, the Mflow can be equipped e.g., with pneumatic weight lifting (with or without cleaning function) or weight docking.
The Mflow can be operated both stand-alone via a modern touch display and with the ZwickRoell testing software on a PC.

- Test load: 0.325 – 21.6 kg (depending on supplementary weights used)
- Compressed air (required only for optional pneumatic weight lifting): 6 – 10 bar, oiled, dry
- Test temperature: +50°C – +450°C
- Display: capacitive touchscreen

- Temperature accuracy: < 0.3 K
- Number of storable parameter sets: > 100
