Universal lifting beams are particularly well suited for a broad range of lifting tasks, as they can be used both as spreader beams and as 4-point lifting beams. The cross-shaped arrangement of the beams, from which the lifting beams derive their name, also ensures that the vertical faces of the load are subjected to minimal compression.

Adjustment of the individual hole spacings can be performed easily, even by non-professionals, which is why these lifting beams are noted for their outstanding user-friendliness. When used as an X-beam, they allow for increased clearance between the suspended load and the chains or slings under load.
