WINTR VERTICAL 2-HEAD BAND SAW V2KB-480

The vertical twin-head band saw type 480 TWIN has been designed for high-performance processing of stacked wood as well as small-diameter logs. The machine allows for simultaneous double-sided cutting of cants from round timber and prepares the material for further processing.

The 480 TWIN model is used as the first element in a technological line for cutting and edging logs, especially for the production of pallet components. Thanks to the use of two saw heads, two cutting passes can be performed simultaneously with high dimensional accuracy. The construction is based on a robust steel frame, a precise band saw guide system, and a feed system with steplessly adjustable feed rate. The hydraulic blade tensioning ensures optimal working conditions for the saw blades and guarantees a stable cutting process.
