Note:
The original PLC Siemens S7-200 CPU 224 is missing (see picture of electrical cabinet without PLC),
therefore automatic operation is not possible in this current condition.
The PLC also controlled the process of screw feeding and the screwdriver itself.
The vibratory bowl is fully functional even without the PLC: the built-in vibratory bowl controller does not require PLC control.

Process:
Connecting elements (fasteners) are loaded as bulk material into the bowl and moved upwards by the bowl’s mechanical vibration (micro-throw principle).
The vibratory bowl is switched on or off automatically according to the screw magazine fill level.
The screw is then supplied via compressed air through a plastic hose to the downstream device.
The feeding impulse for each screw comes externally from the downstream device.
