FUNCTIONALITY

The system is suitable for proportioning (metering) and mixing of two- or multi-component products.
An electronic control monitors and regulates the preset mixing ratio. The base paint flows continuously, and the control system intermittently doses the required amount of hardener via a valve (cyclic operation).
The flow rates of base paint and hardener are measured by flow meters. For piston pumps, position sensors can also be used as an option.
The components and cleaning agents are supplied by supply pumps.

Color Selection
Mixing ratios, pot lives, etc. are stored in recipes. Changing the color can be done easily by switching recipes.

Additional Features and Areas of Application:

- Suitable for low to medium pressure (32.5 MPa; 325 bar; 4714 psi).
- 2K COMFORT XL version for ultra-high pressure (53 MPa; 530 bar; 7687 psi).

- Modular design – can be configured as per customer requirements.

- Electronic dosing accuracy ensures consistent quality.

- Capable of processing water-based 2K materials as all wetted parts are compatible—for example, made entirely of stainless steel.

- The fluid section of the Ex version is suitable for use in hazardous areas (Zone 1 and 2).

- Many function displays use intuitive symbols instead of text, providing language-independent operation. Texts are shown in the selected language.

- Consumption overview available for each component and cleaning agent, including VOC documentation.

- Storage of the last 700 error messages with date and time.

- Safety by continuous monitoring of system parameters, operator notification upon occurrence of minor faults, and automatic production stop if needed.

- Parameter protection via security code. Settings can be saved to a USB stick.

- Electronic setting of mixing ratio from 0.1:1 to 50:1.

- Up to 100 work recipes (also with robot communication or Profibus compatibility).

- Option for two separate fluid circuits:
– for simultaneous operation,
– for rapid color changes,
– or to separate two incompatible 2K materials (e.g., PUR and epoxy coatings).

- Programmable cleaning recipes enable up to 60% savings on cleaning agents compared to conventional systems.

- Fully automated control and monitoring for 1–4 spray guns.

- Compatible with solvent-based and water-based products, as well as selective automatic cleaning with water and/or solvents.
