This is a drill bit grinding machine designed for drill bits from 8 to 30mm, with an adjustable point angle from 90° to 140°.

The grinding process is completed in three steps. First, the drill bit is clamped precisely in a fixture, then follows the grinding and point thinning. The entire process is finished in less than a minute!

Before clamping, the drill diameter is set using a rotary knob on the grinder. The drill, equipped with the appropriate collet, is positioned in the left holder of the machine and clamped securely in place.

Grinding the cutting edges and thinning the point is straightforward: switch on the machine, insert the drill with the fixture into the right holder, rotate smoothly from stop to stop – the first cutting edge is done. Next, rotate the fixture 180° and grind the second cutting edge.

Point thinning is done in the same manner, just using the top holder. That's it. Then simply switch off the machine and unclamp the drill bit.

A brilliant concept combines an eccentric mechanism with a special grinding wheel, so there is no need to worry about edge geometry or clearance angles. Both cutting edges are ground with exactly the same setting, ensuring optimal cutting symmetry every time. Additionally, the point angle can easily be set to any value between 90° and 140° before grinding.

The grinding wheel service life is over 3,000 operations. Alongside the standard CBN grinding wheel for HSS tools, we also offer a diamond grinding wheel for carbide drill bits. Changing wheels takes just seconds and requires minimal effort.

The compact design of the drill bit grinding machine and practical carrying handle make it easy to use on the go. Since virtually all system accessories such as collets, fixtures, or Allen keys are housed on the machine, everything you need is always at hand.
