Large-Scale Climate Testing Facility with S!MCON Control

Construction
The system comprises the following main assemblies:
- Walk-in, insulated test chamber
- Air treatment room
- Machine unit

Test Chamber
The interior fittings in the test chamber are made from corrosion-resistant materials.
The test chamber is walk-in, can be illuminated, and features a condensate drain and cleaning outlet.

Air Treatment Room
The air treatment room is located behind the air duct wall within the insulated interior.

It contains the following assemblies necessary for climate control and can be accessed via easily removable panels:
- Test chamber fans
- Heat exchangers
- Electric heating elements
- Ventilation and exhaust system
- Temperature sensors

In the air treatment room, the air is heated or cooled, humidified or dehumidified, and recirculated by fans.

Air is drawn in at ceiling level and blown out at floor level.

Sensors
Temperature and humidity sensors are located behind the air duct wall in the air treatment room.

Machine Unit
The machine unit, consisting of refrigeration systems, supplies the necessary energy to the air treatment room.

Climate Control System
The climate control system consists of:
- Steam humidifier
- Dehumidification evaporator
