Structure
The system consists of the following main assemblies:
- Walk-in, insulated test chamber
- Air handling room
- Machinery unit
- Climate system
- Control cabinet

Test Chamber
The fittings in the test chamber are made from corrosion-resistant materials. The test chamber is illuminated, walk-in, and equipped with a condensate drain and cleaning outlet.

Air Handling Room
The air handling room is located behind the air duct wall within the insulated interior.

It contains the assemblies necessary for temperature control and is accessible via easily removable panels:
- Test chamber fans
- Heat exchangers
- Electric heating elements
- Ventilation and exhaust devices
- Temperature sensors

In the air handling room, air is conditioned (cooled/heated), humidified and dehumidified, and circulated by fans.

The air is drawn in beneath the ceiling and expelled at floor level.

Sensors
Temperature and humidity sensors are located behind the air duct wall in the air handling room.

Machinery Unit
The machinery unit, consisting of refrigeration units, supplies the air handling room with the required energy.

Climate System
The climate system consists of:
- Steam humidifier
- Dehumidifying evaporator
