The V5 height measuring instrument is the successor to the legendary V+ series, thousands of which have already been sold to workshops around the world and are generally known for their ease of use and high quality.

Trimos was the first company to introduce vertical measuring instruments over 50 years ago. The V5 models represent a consolidation of the expertise gained over the years. The highly legible display and user-friendly features offer outstanding operator comfort. But that’s not all: the V5 is equipped with a revolutionary displacement handwheel that lets the user choose between manual or motorized movement of the measuring carriage. Each of these modes is uncompromising; a user preferring a manual instrument will not notice any difference compared to a classic manual device, and the same applies to motorized movement. This innovation eliminates a difficult purchase decision and allows several users to work with the same instrument according to their preferences.

The V5’s design, with its lateral probe holders, revives a Trimos tradition: they enable measurements with long, robust probes, ensuring excellent repeatability.
