Well-used and visibly worn TEREX machine, previously operated on a scrapyard, shows severe aggressive metal corrosion, including on the feed conveyor. Runs well with CAT C4 engine; oil and filters changed over 300 hours ago. Significant scrap metal accumulation between moving parts. The machine is operational; substantial rust is present, the drivetrain is noisy, and the drive chain is completely corroded—drivetrain may require attention. The rear conveyor has been replaced with a new one, lubrication was sufficient at the time of inspection. The rear conveyor was positioned next to the front, as the machine was stored against a wall. The feeder exhibits heavy corrosion on the underside. All hydraulic functions worked during inspection—no leaks or issues found. The longer the machine sits idle in the yard, the worse the corrosion becomes.
