The LAS 28 XLe laser marking system from Systemtechnik Hölzer GmbH is a universally applicable, high-performance marking solution for industrial applications. It is suitable for the precise, permanent marking of a wide range of materials, including metals such as steel, aluminum, and hard metals, as well as plastics. The integration of a fiber laser ensures high marking quality with minimal maintenance requirements.

The system can be configured with fiber lasers in power classes of 20 W, 30 W, or 50 W, making it ideally adaptable to various requirements regarding material type, marking depth, and cycle time. In many industrial sectors, this technology is indispensable due to the durability and abrasion resistance of its markings.

The included laser software allows for the creation and positioning of contents such as text, serial numbers, 2D codes (e.g., DataMatrix), QR codes, and logos. An automatic serial number logic enables the generation of continuous number sequences without manual input. Additionally, the software supports the import and processing of external data sources (e.g., Excel spreadsheets) for variable contents like drawing numbers or project names. An optional handheld scanner can be connected for data acquisition.

As standard, the LAS 28 XLe is supplied with an integrated industrial PC (Windows-based) and fully installed laser software. To expand its functionality, various options are available, including a rotary axis (3-jaw chuck) for marking cylindrical components, lateral extensions for processing long parts, a motorized Z-axis, and modular drawer systems for part feeding.
