The saw is primarily used in small and medium-sized operations focused on various types of wood processing, but it can also handle non-wood materials. The FLS 170 single-blade saw significantly increases work efficiency and material yield (by 10-15%) and is suitable for cutting beams, planks, squared timber, as well as large-format panels. The input materials can be trimmed, ripped, cut to size, and used for the production of blanks and slats. The maximum cutting height is 170 mm. The saw can be operated by a single worker.

This particular saw is equipped with above-standard features compared to standard models. For example, it includes clamps on the sliding stop, an automatic ripping mode, two joysticks, etc. More details available upon request.

Stepless feed rate and blade lifting adjustment guarantee a clean cut and high cutting performance. Blade changes are easy and, most importantly, safe. The saw carriage is equipped with guide and side rollers, which ensure optimal guidance of the floating unit during cutting without unnecessary vibrations. The upper pressure and adjustable wooden stop ensure the material is firmly secured during cutting, thus eliminating undesirable movement.

The FLS technology stands out due to its quick and simple settings, using ergonomically positioned controls with a touch panel. Cutting width values can be entered manually or via the basic "Absolute" program, as well as optional "Chain" and "Optim" programs. The cutting line is projected onto the material via a laser and then followed lengthwise by the moving saw blade.

The FLS saw can process beams, squared timber, planks, as well as large panels. Input materials can be trimmed, ripped, formatted, cut at an angle and mitered, grooved, or used for manufacturing blanks and slats. The machine is ideal for manufacturers of panel and solid wood furniture or staircases. It is also suitable for cutting non-wood materials, such as PUR/PIR panels, plastic sheets, sandwich panels, as well as aluminium or cement-bonded particle boards.
