SPX/SEITAL SE 355 BX is a dairy centrifuge designed for bacterial removal. This machine was originally purchased by a dairy plant that renews its equipment every 10 years. The dairy was the first owner, employing in-house technicians who performed all maintenance on schedule, kept the machine in perfect working order, and carried out all necessary servicing promptly. The machine remained in operation until September 2024 and was replaced due to the installation of new, higher capacity equipment. The bacterial removal separator is used for various reasons, including by cheese producers, as bacteria can inhibit the proper development of starter cultures. Removing bacteria ensures longer shelf life of fresh milk and guarantees the correct performance of the cultures.
