Manufacturer’s Description:

Machine Bed:
Manufactured from high-grade cast iron; the guideways are hardened and precisely machined. The machine bed serves as the guide for the tailstock and carriage and as the mounting base for the steady rest. The forces generated during turning operations are absorbed by the machine bed.

Tailstock:
The tailstock is used to support large components or during shaft machining between centers.

Feed Gearbox:
The positioning of the X and Z axes is accomplished by high-dynamic digital servo AC motors controlled via the CNC system. Incremental pulse encoders ensure precise measurement data acquisition. These are coupled to the driven end of the ball screws.
