Load-Bearing Structure

The load-bearing structure consists of a particularly robust monolithic steel base, heavily ribbed and very rigid; the especially wide support was specifically designed to ensure machine stability, providing sustained precision regardless of operating conditions, and eliminating the need to anchor the machine to the floor. The base forms a large and solid foundation for the movable gantry: the working unit thus features a balanced, stable, and durable support that withstands the highest stresses, ensuring superior performance and greater accuracy. The movable gantry is made from a solid single piece, anchored to the base on both sides, gliding on high-quality prismatic guides with ball-return carriages. The double drive system on the X-axis guarantees top performance even under heavy operating conditions. Movement of the lower movable unit (X-axis) and the working unit along the beam of the movable unit (Y-axis) is achieved via helical rack and pinion transmission; this results in greater tooth-to-tooth force for higher acceleration and greater speed along the X and Y axes. The specially designed helical gearing ensures reduced wear on mechanical components and quieter operation. The vertical Z-axis is driven by a ball screw, delivering perfect balance under dynamic loads and capable of rapid acceleration and deceleration. The main routing unit is directly coupled to the Z-axis carriage, guaranteeing absolute finishing quality by eliminating vibrations. Movement along the X-Y-Z axes is achieved with brushless motors powered by static inverters; these ensure:
